Engaging Young Writers with Pages

Session Overview
During this session we will explore how our students can use Pages to celebrate their writing by creating stunning, interactive books that can be easily shared with others. We will explore different approaches to illustrating their work, and adding audio to make their stories accessible to all learners. Along the way we will discover how Pages can be used to support our young writers – particularly the reluctant!

During this session you will learn how to…
● Use templates
● Add illustrations and audio
● Use Keynote to create simple animations
● Export and share with others

Participants should already be familiar with:
No prerequisite knowledge/skills are required.

Suitable for:
Teachers, Educational Support Staff

Level:
Beginner

Participants should bring:
iPad with Pages, Keynote and Tayasui Sketches School apps
Apple Pencil preferable but not essential
